These terms cover your use of modern.css, run by Naeem Noor. By using the site or creating an account you agree to them.
Using the site
- Everything you can read is free, with no account needed.
- The code in snippets and tools is free to use in your own projects.
- The writing, demos and design are copyright modern.css. Don't republish them as your own.
- Browser support data comes from caniuse, MDN and web-features. It's checked often but can be wrong or out of date, so test before you rely on it.
- The Baseline name and logos are trademarks of Google, used under the Baseline usage guidelines (CC BY-ND 4.0).
Your account
- You must be at least 16 to create an account.
- You sign in with an email link, Google or GitHub. Keep those accounts safe: anyone who can get into them can sign in as you.
Your content
Your collections are private to you. Your forks are unlisted: anyone with a fork's link can see its code and preview, until you delete it. You're responsible for what you put in a fork, and we may remove one that breaks these terms.
Don't
- Scrape the site, overload it, or try to get into accounts that aren't yours.
- Use a fork for anything illegal, hateful or misleading, to impersonate someone, or to trick people into giving up passwords or payment details.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Price
modern.css is free, accounts and every feature included. There's no paid plan. The site is paid for by sponsors.
Sponsors
Some pages show a sponsor slot. Right now it links to our own other products.
Ending your account
You can delete your account from Settings at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms. Either way, you can ask us for a copy of your data first.
No guarantees
We work to keep modern.css running and your data safe, but the site is provided as is. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes and law
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email account holders before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Bahrain.
