modern-css.com collects minimal data to understand how the site is used and to keep it running.

- Newsletter: If you subscribe to the newsletter via Buttondown, your email address is stored by Buttondown. See the Buttondown privacy policy. We do not have access to payment data.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal information unless you voluntarily subscribe to the newsletter.
- We do not sell data to third parties.
- We do not run tracking pixels beyond the services listed above.

This site uses one first-party cookie to remember your light/dark theme preference. It contains no personal data. Third-party cookies may be set by Google Analytics and Carbon Ads as described above.

If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Because we collect almost no personal data directly, the most likely data to request relates to newsletter subscriptions — contact Buttondown directly for those.
