How the score works
It weighs the modern CSS a site uses against the old techniques it still carries. Each one counts once, however often it appears, so one big file can't swing the score.
What it can't see
We check the home page's CSS as a visitor's browser has it once the page runs, so CSS added by scripts counts too. Pages behind a login aren't included. A lower score isn't a judgement: old CSS that works is fine.
