CSS MCP Server

CSS MCP Server is an experimental MCP server built for CSS. It fetches documentation from MDN's API and browser support data from MDN's Browser Compat Data.
get_docs takes a simple name such as grid, :has or @media and returns the MDN page as markdown. get_browser_compatibility takes a BCD id such as css.properties.grid. analyze_css and analyze_project_css report on stylesheet quality using up to 150 or more metrics, such as selector complexity, specificity, colours, font sizes and spacing. analyze_project_css can scan a whole folder of built CSS.
Install it in Claude Code with claude mcp add css -- npx -y css-mcp. It needs Node.js 20 or newer and caches docs locally for 7 days.
